Hello, I am Amanda!
Welcome! I am so glad you are here! This born and raised California girl traded the dry desert for humid green Texas. I am currently located in the Northern part of Texas with my husband and three children. I am also a HBAC (Homebirth after Cesarean) mother. My first born was a unplanned hospital transfer that ended in a c-section while my other two were born at home. I am a homeschooling/stay at home mother, homeopathic medicine believer, Jesus and wild flower lover, and lover of all things old, vintage, unique, and with a little character.
I created Mama Cabinet out my passion for childbirth education when I was pregnant with my first born. My desire was to be educated and in charge of my birth experience. This education really encouraged me to be less fearful in the birth process and know what to fight for and how to fight for it. Every mama has a cabinet, whether mental or literal, in their home that holds all their tricks and tips that they reach into for multiple life situations. This may range from knowledge to tools that may help our family and ourselves in a time of need. That is what Mama Cabinet is and strives for. I provide evidence based informative educational material on childbirth education, resources, and support that are available to mothers who may not be aware of and need. Each individual and personal preferences all differ, which is why I am here to help you find out what that is for you! So take a look around and let's get started.

This is my husband and main birth partner. We have been love birds for 10 years. He has been my loudest support and we have created a wonderful life together.
This is me sitting in the sun while breastfeeding my third born. I am huge advocate of breastfeeding and had breastfed all three of my children. Being able to sustain life with my body at any measure is a true miracle.
